Privacy Policy

This page explains how Karaoke Vault PH handles information for the Karaoke Vault PH website, KVPH Collection, and the KVPH Collection Downloader apps.

Overview

Karaoke Vault PH respects your privacy. We collect only the information needed to provide access, operate the service, support downloads, and help users when something goes wrong.

Information we collect

Your Google account email address and basic profile information when you sign in.
Your KVPH Collection access status, such as whether your account is approved for browsing or downloading.
Download activity needed for the service to work, such as download job status, progress, completion, failure, retry, or revoke status.
Technical information such as app logs, errors, timestamps, device/app status, and troubleshooting details.

Google account and Google Drive access

KVPH Collection Downloader may request Google Drive read-only access so approved users can download KVPH Collection files that are privately shared with their approved Google account through the KVPH paid-user Google Group.

The downloader uses this access only to download KVPH Collection files that the user is authorized to access. The downloader does not upload, edit, delete, rename, move, or manage the user’s personal Google Drive files.

Google Drive read-only use: The KVPH Collection Downloader uses Google Drive access only for file downloads initiated by the user. It does not scan or manage personal Drive files outside the KVPH Collection files the user is permitted to download.

How we use information

To verify approved access to KVPH Collection.
To allow approved users to browse and download collection files.
To support pause, resume, retry failed files, revoke, and completion tracking.
To maintain service reliability, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer support.
To prevent abuse and protect the availability of the service.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we do not do

We do not sell user data.
We do not share user data with advertisers.
We do not use Google Drive access to upload, modify, delete, rename, move, or manage personal Google Drive files.
We do not use Google Drive access for advertising or unrelated analytics.

Data storage and retention

Account and download status information may be stored in Firebase services used by Karaoke Vault PH. Download files are stored in Google Drive and are accessed only by approved users.

We keep account and download activity records only as long as needed to operate the service, provide support, maintain access records, and prevent abuse.

User control

Users may request removal of their KVPH Collection access or ask questions about stored account information by contacting Karaoke Vault PH. Removing access may prevent browsing or downloading KVPH Collection files.

Security

We use reasonable technical and operational measures to protect account and service information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to keep access limited to approved users.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when needed. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
